It's natural to feel nervous in front of the lens...
Every client I've ever shot has said "I'm a little nervous" - it's totally normal and natural to be a little shy about showing your curves to your photographer, but by being prepared to have an awesome time you can take away some of those jitters and relax! So here is a list of some ways you can look and feel your best for your shoot!
1. I highly recommend, if your budget allows, scheduling a professional hair and makeup session before your shoot. If you feel like you look your best, naturally you will be more confident taking your photos!

2. Use false eyelashes, they really will make your eyes look big and beautiful
3. Treat yourself to a mani-pedi, so that your digits look as fantastic as the rest of you. Nail services not in the budget? A simple polish at home works just as well!
4. Choose a wardrobe that flatters your figure and fits properly - I can't stress this enough. Choose a wardrobe that highlights what you want to show off and, if you have any, hides trouble areas. I happen to hate my tummy, so I would shy away from a babydoll or a crop top, but a corset can do wonders!If your legs are a trouble area, you may want to opt for full length pantyhose rather than thigh highs, which can cause unsightly bulges on a gazelle.
5. Don't bring more than three to four wardrobe choices.
6. Bring a pair of sexy heels that will go with all your outfits.
7. Moisturize in the morning before your shoot, but stay away from lotions with sunscreen in them.
8. Take care of any hair removal the night before the shoot to avoid irritated skin. If you are opting for a waxing (ouch!) I recommend going 48 hours before your shoot.
9. Don't apply that glitter eyeshadow! Matte is always better when you are doing makeup for a photoshoot.
10. I recommend pulling out the maxi dress to arrive at your shoot, it's perfect for avoiding any imprints from tighter fitting clothing.
